The youngest of our Rising Stars attend class with a parent or caretaker to join in the gymnastics fun! Babies who are beginning to walk, along with toddlers, will enjoy developing motor skills, playing games, bouncing on the trampoline, and making new friends. This class requires the participation of a parent or caretaker age 12 or older. The maximum age for students is 3 years old. You’ll be amazed at how much your little gymnast can learn in a Twinklers class as they gain confidence and independence through gymnastics-related challenges.

When should I register for the Shining Stars class? Move up to Shining Stars when your little gymnast is potty trained (*required for Shining Stars) and displays independence during class.

Shining Stars classes focus on fun, strength, flexibility, and balance development for children ages 3 to 4. Our young gymnasts will build confidence and coordination through engaging challenges and group activities. They’ll be introduced to basic gymnastics skills such as forward and backward rolls, headstands, and handstands, while also learning at their own pace on the bars and balance beams. Gymnasts must be potty-trained to participate in Shining Stars.

Superstars will expand their skills across all four gymnastics events: vault, bars, beam, and floor. Students will learn at their own pace and work toward mastering skills such as handstands, cartwheels, roundoffs, and kickovers. In addition to improving their gymnastics abilities, they’ll develop self-confidence, strength, flexibility, and problem-solving skills.

Gymstarz students will continue to build their skills on all four gymnastics events: vault, bars, beam, and floor. They’ll work at their own pace to master techniques such as handstands, cartwheels, roundoffs, and kickovers. As they progress, they’ll also enhance their self-confidence, strength, flexibility, and problem-solving abilities.

Rising Star boys will enjoy learning men’s gymnastics events, including rings, high bar, parallel bars, pommel horse, vault, and tumbling. The program emphasizes fitness and fun, with opportunities to participate in local and national competitions through our NGA Team.

Whether your goal is to improve for cheerleading or just to have fun, this class is an excellent choice. Coach Michael focuses on drills, expert-level spotting, and conditioning to help every student meet—and exceed—their tumbling and strength goals.

You’re never too old for gymnastics! Each student learns at their own pace in a welcoming, positive, and safe environment. Whether you’re working on cartwheels or advanced tumbling, every class also emphasizes overall fitness through gymnastics conditioning.
