Rising Star Preschool is a unique environment where children will learn through movement, play and traditional class room style teaching and preparing children for kindergarten and beyond. Teachers will provide a theme-based curriculum promoting a healthy, active lifestyle. Regular physical activity improves attention span and aids in mastering new information. Movement benefits the whole child. Children need to move and play to grow! At Rising Star we believe in preparing children for successful and healthy futures.

 

Rising Star Preschool Curriculum Opportunities:

Class Ages and Size:

Accepting 3-5 year-olds 

  • Must be fully potty trained
  • 4-year-old class
  • 5-year-old class

Rising Star Preschool Schedule

1/2 Day Schedule (Preschool Only)

  • 8:30 am drop off
  • 8:45- 9:30 am Morning free play and Morning Meeting
  • 9:45-10:15 am Gym Time (organized gym play and grooms motor movement)
  • 10:15-10:45 am Bathroom and Snack
  • 10:45-11:00 am Daily lesson and table work
  • 11:00- 11:20 am Small motor activity/Free play
  • 12:15 pm Pick Up

Full-Day Schedule (preschool, lunch bunch, and gymnastics) 

  • 8:30 am Drop off
  • 8:45 am Preschool Class time/Activities
  • 12:00 pm Morning Pick Up and Fridays
  • 12:20 pm-1:15pm Lunch Bunch
  • 1:15 pm Lunch Bunch Pick Up
  • 1:30-2:30 pm Gymnastics (Rising Star Preschool Students Only)
  • 2:45 pm - 3:00 pm Pick Up

  • Strives to meet health care and educational standards
  • Teachers and Staff will receive on going training and education
  • Teachers and Staff will be First Aid and CPR certified

    Rising Star Preschool has been hands-down one of the best decisions we have made.  Our daughter is thriving in all areas of preschool - social, emotional, academic, free/dramatic play, and physical activity.  More importantly, she is excited to go to RSP each and every day to see and interact with her friends and teacher.  She absolutely loves the gymnastics aspect of the RSP program as well and we love that she is able to do this as part of preschool.
